Changing the gradation of aggregate and the ratio of oil and stone at ant time: Because of its intermittent mixing that means separately mixing and discharging, the gradation of aggregate and the ratio of oil and stone can be changed at any time. Therefore, the performance of asphalt concrete is relatively good, which can meet the need of different construction projects.

3. The requirement for aggregate is not high.

According to production capacity of asphalt mixing plant

If its production capacity is below 40 tons per hour, it is named small-sized asphalt mixing plant; if its production capacity is between 40 tons and 400 tons per hour, it is called medium-sized asphalt mix plant; if its production capacity is above 400 tons per hour, it is named large asphalt mixing plant.

Components of Asphalt Mixing Plant

Asphalt mixing plant includes cold aggregate feeding system, drying drum, vibrate screen, weighing system, bitumen supplying system, mixing system, dust collecting system and control system, etc.

Cold aggregate feeding system: The cold aggregate of different specifications is fed into the cold bin by loader. These cold aggregates are collected to the aggregating belt and transported to the oblique belt.

Drying drum: It is mainly used for drying the cold aggregate.

Hot aggregate elevator: It mainly conveyed the dried hot aggregate to the vibrating screen.

Vibrating screen: The vibrating screen of batch mix asphalt plant classifies the hot aggregates and sends them into the hot aggregate storage bin.

Weighing system: Based on the ratio of asphalt mixture, the weighing system weighs aggregates, powders and bitumen separately, and unloads them into the mixing device.

Mixing system: Mix the weighed materials.

Control system: The control system is used to control the weighing door, discharge door, valve and so on. The operation of the control system will directly affect the accuracy and performance of the mixing equipment.

Dust collecting system: In the process of drying the cold aggregate, it is inevitable to produce dust. Dust collecting system of asphalt concrete plant aids to remove the dust and sends the dust to the recycling powder storehouse to reduce the environmental pollution.
