In general, commercial concrete mixing plant basically consists of five systems, which are the mixing host, material conveying system, material weighing system, material storage system and control system. Specific Introduction of each systems are as the followings:
- The Mixing host
According to its mixing method, it is divided into compulsory mixing and self-falling stirring. Compulsory concrete mixer is the main mixer of the concrete mixing station at home and abroad, and it can mix liquidity, semi-dry, hard and a variety of concrete. Self-falling concrete mixer is barely used in concrete batch plants.
- Material conveying system
Material conveying consists of four parts, which are aggregate, powder, water and additives conveying. The modern aggregate conveying methods consist of hopper and belt conveying. Hopper conveying has the advantages of small footprint and simple structure. In contrast, belt conveyor has the advantage of large transmission distance, high efficiency and low failure rate.
- Material Weighing System
Material weighing system is a key system that affects the quality of concrete and the cost of concrete production. It is divided into three parts, which are aggregate weighing, powder weighing and liquid weighing.
- Material Storage System
Concrete silo is the key component of material storage system, which is has high reliability and availability.
- The Control System
With automatic control system, the operation process can be greatly simplified and shortened. Most importantly, the quality and productivity can be greatly ensured.
